July 16, 2022 - After giving up an early second half goal that cut its lead to 2-1, the French military women’s soccer team responded in decisive fashion on the sixth day of the 2022 World Women's Football Championship defeating Mali 5-1 behind goals from Sarah Palacin, Morgane DuPorge and Christy Gavory.

July 16, 2022 - The last second loss to Germany at the 2019 World Military Games still lingered in the minds of the American players going into their CISM matchup with Germany. In that 2019 contest in Wuhan, China, the U.S. fell in the 94th minute on a late goal by the Germans.
