USA victorious over Canada in CISM Football Cup
Army 2nd lt. Harley Spier of Fort Wainwright Alaska scored the go ahead goal after a 2-2 tie against Team Canada.  USA won the match 4-3 in overtime.  Spier scored two goals against Brazil the match before. France hosted the 2016 Conseil International du Sport Militaire (CISM) World Football Cup in Rennes, France from 24 May to 5 June.  USA finished 7th overall as host nation France won the Cup.
June 10, 2016 - The U.S. Armed Forces women’s team found their rhythm is spectacular fashion on Saturday at Albert Chenard Stadium and defeated their friendly regional rivals Canada 4-3 in overtime.
