Naval Base San Diego Kicks Off 2023 Armed Forces Golf
Naval Base Commanding Officer Captain Robert Healy provides opening remarks for the 2023 Armed Forces Sports Golf Championship. 2023 marks the 75th anniversary of Armed Forces Golf. This year, Naval Base San Diego hosts the championship at the Admiral Baker Golf Course, featuring teams from the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, and Air Force (with Space Force players); and for the first time as a stand alone team, the U.S. Coast Guard. Sept. 22, 2023 - Under cool cloudy skies, Naval Base San Diego Commanding Officer Captain Robert Heely welcomed teams from the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force (with Space Force players), and Coast Guard to the Admiral Baker Golf Course on Thursday, September 21st.

Armed Forces Sports to Celebrate 75 years of Golf

Sept. 20, 2023 - Forty five service members from the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard will tee off at Admiral Baker Golf Course on Sep. 20 officially kicking off the 75th Armed Forces Sports Golf Championship.

Sept. 16, 2022 - Despite rain delays on the first day of competition, the clouds cleared the way for dominate performances by the Air Force women and Army men’s golf teams during the four-day Armed Forces Championship at the Fort Belvoir Golf Course from September 11-14.  

FORT BELVOIR TO HOST 2022 ARMED FORCES GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP
Army 2nd. lt. Melanie DeLeon, USAG Bavaria, Germany captures gold as top golfers from around the military compete for gold during the 2019 Armed Forces Golf Championship held at the Falcon Dunes Golf Course at Luke Air Force Base, Arizona from May 15-18.
Sept. 7, 2022 - Fort Belvoir will host the annual Armed Forces Golf Championship featuring teams from Army, Marine Corps, Navy (including Coast Guard) and Air Force (including Space Force), held at the Fort Belvoir Golf Course at Fort Belvoir, Virginia from 11-14 September 2022.  

2020 Armed Forces Sports Championships Cancellations
April 10, 2020 - As leadership continues to monitor the current COVID-19 guidance from the Department of Defense and the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, the Armed Forces Sports Council has made the decision to cancel all Armed Forces Sports Championships and events through September 30, 2020.
