Soldiers spur Golden Knights’ competition team to historic heights
The U.S. Army Parachute Team’s 4-Way Formation Skydiving (FS) Competition Team took home gold at the 2025 Indoor National Skydiving Championships, hosted by Skydive Paraclete XP. SFC Jesse Stahler, SFC Nick Birkner, SFC Mitch Stockenberg, and SFC Mike Connors delivered a standout performance, earning 284 points with an average of 28.4 over 10 rounds. Competing against top skydiving teams from across the country, the team showcased elite precision, speed, and synchronization in the wind tunnel.

2020 Armed Forces Sports Championships Cancellations
April 10, 2020 - As leadership continues to monitor the current COVID-19 guidance from the Department of Defense and the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, the Armed Forces Sports Council has made the decision to cancel all Armed Forces Sports Championships and events through September 30, 2020.
