2020 Armed Forces Sports Championships Cancellations
April 10, 2020 - As leadership continues to monitor the current COVID-19 guidance from the Department of Defense and the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, the Armed Forces Sports Council has made the decision to cancel all Armed Forces Sports Championships and events through September 30, 2020.  

Marine Corps Dominate for Gold at 2018 Armed Forces Softball Championship
PENSACOLA, Fla. - Marines celebrate their first gold medal victory since 2000 as elite military softball players from around the Department of Defense compete to crown this year's best during the 2018 Men's Armed Forces Softball Championship held at NAS Pensacola, Fla. from September 18-22.  Teams from the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force and athletes from the Coast Guard competing with the Navy compete in a three-day tournament to determine the champion. Sept. 25, 2018 - There wasn’t a dry eye in the wave of emotions as the Men’s Marine Corps Softball team shocked the world winning gold in 18 years at the Armed Forces Men’s Softball Championship held here at Barrancas Ball Fields, Naval Air Station Pensacola, Fla., Aug. 20-22.

Aug. 28, 2018 - The U.S. Armed Forces Women’s Softball Team reached the finals once again and earned silver at the 2018 USA Softball National Women’s Open Championship at the WVO Softball Complex in Portland, Ore. on August 26.
