USA Men and Women Golf Teams Lead the Pack at CISM World Military Championship

Two days of beautiful weather were not the only dominate fixture at the Admiral Baker Golf Course in San Diego, Calif. After two rounds of play, U.S. Men and Women Golf Teams jumped out in front of the competition behind solid play.

On the men’s side, USA scored 20-strokes under par, 18-strokes ahead of second place France. 

Navy Lt. Jacob Meloche of Naval San Diego, Calif. went two days straight going 5-under par for the top spot. 

France’s Nicolas Muller holds a firm spot in second, going 7-under in both trips to the North Course. 

USA’s David Banks, Joseph Crisostomo, and Nicholas Brediger locked in solid performances to complete the scoring fixtures for Team USA. 

France, behind Muller’s performance, sits in second for the team competition, just two strokes ahead of Team Ireland, who is locked in at par after two rounds. 

On the women’s side, Air Force 1st Lt. Kimberly Liu and Army Capt. Melanie De Leon continue to occupy the top spots of the women’s competition going 3-under and 2-under respectively. 

U.S. Women hold a 10-stroke lead over France. 

France’s Pauline Stein and Josephine Farrando went 1-under and 6-over in two rounds. France remains poised for a battle with USA for the top spot.
