Nov. 11, 2024 - More than 23,000 athletes ran the 49th Marine Corps Marathon, whose theme was “Celebrating Women in Service – A Bond that Bridges Generations.”  For one Air Force intelligence officer, the theme gave her a little extra drive during the race and her competition in the Armed Forces Championship.

Nov. 5, 2024 - As an elite pack of runners, an Airman, Soldier and Marine, ran toward the Capitol, while keeping pace, sharing gels and water, enjoying beautiful 50-degree weather, and secretly deciding who was going to breakaway to win bragging rights to win the Armed Forces Championship and 49th Marine Corps Marathon. 

Nov. 2, 2024 - As the Olympic trials hopeful Soldier passed the capitol, he steadied his pace, working with a Marine and Airman, sharing water and gels, as they traversed small hills, enjoyed beautiful 50-degree, sunny weather and focused on the who was going to win bragging rights, winning the 49th Marine Corps Marathon and the Armed Forces Championship.

Nov. 1, 2024 - As he approached the mile 20 marker with grit and intensity in a pack, he decided to make a move. He kicked in his reserves, picked up a brutal pace and won the 49th Marine Corps Marathon and took gold in the Armed Forces Championship Men’s Division with a time of 2:25:06.
