Army continues the undefeated streak with win over Navy

Army Spc. Donita Adams of Maryland Nat’l Guard scored 19 points as Army defeated  Navy 90 -54 in game-eight of the 2016 Armed Forces Women’s Basketball Championship at the Chaparral Fitness Center at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland AFB, Texas on July 4th.

Navy Seaman Jameika Hoskins of the USS Rushmore scored 13-points.    

The second round of pool play continues as Army will face Marine Corps and Air Force will go up against Navy on the 5 July. 

The 2016 Armed Forces Championship format consists of double round robin play, where each team faces one another twice for seeding.  The top two best records will face one another in the championship match to claim the 2016 Armed Forces crown.
