Air Force Men, Women lead Armed Forces Bowling Team Challenge

Air Force bowlers led the charge as both men’s and women’s teams take the Team Challenge of day one of the 2016 Armed Forces Bowling Championship held at Travis AFB, Calif. on May 11th.

Air Force Senior Airman Tonya Criss led all women bowling for a total of 1,088 pins.  Air Force Airman 1st Class led all men with a score of 1,159 pins. 

Air Force men and women are currently in first place, followed by the Army in both divisions.

Marine Corps and Navy men are currently ranked third and fourth respectively after day one.  Navy women sit in third place, as Marine Corps did not field a women’s team this year. 

Day Two of the tournament on May 12, will feature the Doubles and Mixed Doubles Challenges.
