The Armed Forces Men’s and Women’s Bowling Championship returns this year featuring teams from Army, Navy and Air Force. The Championship will be held at Fort Meade, Md. 25-28 April 2024.

This will be the first year since 2019 that Service members will battle it out on the lanes for the Championship title. In 2019 the Navy took first place for the women while the Air Force won it for the men. Navy managed to dominate the men’s and women’s singles and doubles competition, clinching gold in both. It was a different story in mixed doubles as the Air Force took gold over the Army.

This year’s competition will include four sessions of bowling. Three of which will have standard 10-frame games and one (Team Challenge) will consist of 12 Baker matches. Service Team Champion is determined by the total pin fall from all team bowlers and their eighteen (18) games from the doubles, mixed doubles, and singles sessions, plus the final Team Challenge Score. The Team Challenge Score includes the total pin fall from the team score of the Baker matches plus bonus pins.

The Championship includes an Opening Ceremony on 26 April and a Closing Ceremony on 28 April. All play will take place at The Lanes Fort Meade.
