SPOKANE, Wash. –

Team Germany defeated Ireland 3-0 in match-two of the 13th CISM World Military Women’s Football Championship in Spokane, Washington, July 11, 2022, during the first day of the 11-day tournament.

Germany’s Sonja Bartoschek scored at the 8-minute mark, assisted by Jill Ludwig. In the second half, Bartoschek notched her second goal at 49 minutes.

Eileen Schultz scored at 73 minutes, assisted by Bartoschek, to seal the deal for team Germany.

Germany will face Belgium at 3:30 p.m. PDT on Wednesday, July 13, and Ireland takes on Cameroon at 3:30 p.m. on the 15th, after having a bye.
