Selection Process

The U.S. Armed Forces Marathon team was selected by the pool of runners from the 2018 Armed Forces Marathon Championship held in conjunction with the 2018 Marine Corps Marathon.  The gold medalists were guaranteed a position on the team based on their availability.  The final selections were based on the top times from the Armed Forces Championship or from recent national-level events.
