Aug. 3, 2020 - Armed Forces Sports has notified USA Wrestling that an athlete who participated in the 2020 Armed Forces Wrestling Championships has had his results disqualified, thus changing the outcome of the competition, which was held at Naval Station Kitsap, Wash. from February 20-24.

2020 Armed Forces Sports Championships Cancellations
April 10, 2020 - As leadership continues to monitor the current COVID-19 guidance from the Department of Defense and the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, the Armed Forces Sports Council has made the decision to cancel all Armed Forces Sports Championships and events through September 30, 2020.

Feb. 27, 2020 - The following events are identified in order for Judokas to compete in order to gain experience and earn qualifying points within USA Judo.  Visit the USA Judo Events page for further information of the specific events below.  These events are sanctioned events and competitors should be authorized permissive TDY/TAD with their respective command endorsement.

Army wrestler wins first medal for USA in Military World Games

Army Staff Sgt. Max Nowry won the first medal for the USA at the CISM Military World Games this week in Wuhan, China. He beat wrestlers from three nations, including one from Algeria in the semifinals, to capture bronze in the 57 kilogram freestyle competition. The USA has about 250 military athletes and staff participating in 17 different sports at the games.
