Military athletes compete at Orienteering Championship

March 29, 2016 - Eight military athletes competed in the 2016 U.S. Individual Orienteering Championship in Pleasanton, CA from 18-21 March.

Schedule of USA Orienteering Training Opportunities
Team USA is back after a 14-year hiatus to compete at the 2013 CISM World Orienteering Military Championship hosted by the Swedish Armed Forces in Eksjo, Sweden from 26 August to 1 September.
Jan. 29, 2016 - USA Orienteering will host a series of sanctioned events this spring and summer. The U.S. Armed Forces Sports coordinator for Orienteering will host training camps in conjunction with these events to focus on terrain, navigational techniques and race strategy.

Team USA is back after a 14-year hiatus to compete at the 2013 CISM World Orienteering Military Championship hosted by the Swedish Armed Forces in Eksjo, Sweden from 26 August to 1 September.
Feb. 18, 2015 - Anyone interested in Armed Forces Orienteering is welcome to attend a training camp at Olive Hill, KY held in conjunction with the U.S. Individual Orienteering Championships and Team Trials from 26-29 March. All costs will be the responsibility of the participants.

Aug. 30, 2013 - The U.S. Armed Forces are back competing in Orienteering. After a 14-year hiatus, the U.S. Armed Forces re-energized the Orienteering program to compete at the 2013 World Orienteering Military Championship hosted by the Swedish Armed Forces in Eksjo, Sweden 26 August to 1 September.
