Army sweeps men’s wrestling team titles, women’s competition grows

The Armed Forces Sports Wrestling Championships bring together service members from the Army, Marine Corps, Navy (with Coast Guard athletes), and Air Force (with Space Force athletes) to compete at the national level. Armed Forces Sports promotes physical fitness, provides competitive opportunities for military athletes at national and international levels, supports recruitment and retention efforts, and strengthens partnerships through sports diplomacy. March 15, 2026 - Army Spc. Kamal Bey didn’t get flustered as he fell behind Marine Corps Capt. Terrence Zaleski 5-0 in the first round of matches in the men’s freestyle tournament Sunday.

March 14, 2026 - In the middle of the final 63 kg Greco-Roman match at the 2026 Armed Forces Wrestling Championships, Lance Cpl. Isaiah Serena rolled on the mat in pain clutching his left shoulder.

March 13, 2026 - Wrestlers from across the globe have gathered in the Chihuahuan Desert to battle for the distinction of best grapplers in the military March 14-15.

March 3, 2024 - By stringing three straight technical falls late in the dual meet, the U.S. Army defeated the U.S. Air Force, 25-17, to win the men’s freestyle team title at the Armed Forces Championships on Sunday.

March 2, 2024 - The U.S. Army was dominant in defending its Armed Forces Greco-Roman title, winning two lopsided dual meets and claiming eight individual champions.
