JOINT EXPEDITIONARY BASE LITTLE CREEK-FORT STORY, Virginia – Air Force Women dominated the lanes winning team gold and capturing gold, silver, and bronze medals in the individual championship. Navy Men overcame fierce competition to narrowly win team gold during the 2025 Armed Forces Bowling Championship held at the Gator Bowling Center at Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek-Fort Story, Virginia from June 25-28.
Air Force 2nd lt. Raychell Channell of Naval Air Station Fort Worth led the charge taking individual gold, as veteran bowler Lt. Col. Danielle Crowder of Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio and Airman 1st Class Jordan Kasza of Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J. won silver and bronze.
Air Force women won gold by nearly 1,000 pins over Navy, who took team silver.
On the men’s side, only three pins separated Navy and Air Force with Navy pulling ahead for the gold. Air Force grabbed silver as Army trailed by only 169 pins for third.
Only 12 pins separated the top three bowlers on the podium, as Petty Officer 1st Class Ryan Bartholomew captured gold followed by teammate Senior Chief Petty Officer Thomas Warble winning Silver. Army Sgt. 1st Class Gavin Wainwright rounded out the podium taking bronze.
