NAVAL BASE SAN DIEGO, Calif. –
After three days under the sun at Admiral Baker Golf Course, France’s Pauline Stein (-1) jumped ahead of the Americans to take the spot in the women’s leaderboard on Thursday with a one stroke advantage over USA’s Melanie De Leon (E).
Stein stayed steady and discipline on the front nine. After running into a few bumps and fast greens, Stein finished the day with an even par for a three-day total at one-under.
USA Women still hold a five-stroke lead over France for the top team spot, with Germany sitting in third.
In the men’s group, USA’s Jacob Meloche (-9) continues to lead the pack with a one-stroke lead over France’s Nicolas Muller (-8).
USA Men continue to dominate the division going for a combined score of 23-under, 18 strokes ahead of Team France. Ireland holds a commanding position in third place.
