Cruise, from Endicott, N.Y., who won Monday’s singles competition for the men’s division at the Armed Forces Bowling Championship, attempts a strike during the match on Naval Station Great Lakes, July 22. The Armed Forces Bowling Championship is underway from July 18 to July 24, and features a two-day elimination round and a three-day championship series that began with 50 of the military’s top-ranked bowlers pitted in Singles, Doubles, Mixed Doubles, and Team-based competition.
