SOF civil affairs soldier’s unique perspective playing golf in China
Staff Sgt. Ian Milne, a special operations civil affairs recruiter stationed at Fort Bliss, Texas, recently returned from playing golf with the U.S. Armed Forces Golf Team at the 7th International Military Sports Council Military World Games held Oct. 18-27 in Wuhan Province, China.

Oct. 22, 2019 - Linda Jeffery led the USA women to a silver team medal Tuesday by taking an individual bronze after four days of competition at Yisham Golf Club.

Selection Process

The U.S. Armed Forces Men's and Women's Teams are comprised of players who participated at the Armed Forces Golf Championship held at Luke AFB, AZ from 14-19 April 2019.  The top three scoring women and top six scoring men earned a spot on the team.
