Naval Station Everett to host 2019 Men's Armed Forces Soccer

Naval Station Everett will host the 2019 Armed Forces Men’s Soccer Championship here June 13-21. This event will feature teams from the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, and Air Force along with athletes from the Coast Guard competing on the Navy team.

Air Force is currently the defending champions, having beat the Navy 5-2 during the championship match of the 2016 Armed Forces Championship held at Fort Bragg, N.C. Army defeated the Marines in the consolation match to earn third place honors.

The Armed Forces Men’s Soccer Championship also serves as the selection tournament of the U.S. Armed Forces Men’s Soccer team.  The U.S. Armed Forces Men’s Soccer team will compete at the Conseil International du Sport Militaire (CISM) Military World Games in Wuhan, China from 18-28 October 2019.
