Orienteering Training Camp Opportunity

Anyone interested in Armed Forces Orienteering is welcome to attend a training camp at Olive Hill, KY held in conjunction with the U.S. Individual Orienteering Championships and Team Trials from 26-29 March.  All costs will be the responsibility of the participants.  

Schedule of events:
26 Mar, 1300-2000: recon of model maps, map study, dinner, session on planning season training (fitness and navigation)
27 Mar, 0900-1400: skills practice on model map.  
27 Mar, 1600-1900: Sprint Distance course, team course review
28 Mar: 0900-UTC: Middle Distance course, team course review
29 Mar: 0800-UTC: Long Distance course, team course review  

Come out and compete against the very best orienteers in the USA, and cheer on your teammates as they compete for spots on the US national team that will represent the USA at the World Orienteering Championships in Scotland in August.   For further information about the event, lodging, and race registration, see http://www.ocin.org/flying_pig/pigXIX/entry_info_2015.html.  Regardless of age, participants should register for the elite classes, F21+ / M21+.
