Army wins men’s cross country championship, Marine marathoner takes gold for women

Jan. 23, 2020 - SAN DIEGO – Army men swept gold though bronze in both the Armed Forces Cross Country Championship and USA Track and Field men’s 10K race, run concurrently Jan. 18 at Mission Bay Park.

Staff Sgt. Nunn overcomes flu to become three-time Olympian
U.S. Army World Class Athlete Program race walker Staff Sgt. John Nunn receives an American flag from his daughter, Ella, after winning the 2016 U.S. Olympic Team Trials for the 50-kilometer race walk on Sunday, Feb. 21, in Santee, Calif. Nunn, 38, won the event with a personal-best time of 4 hours, 3 minutes, 21 seconds on the 31-mile course to earn his third Olympic berth.
Feb. 25, 2016 - SANTEE, California (Feb. 22, 2016) -- Staff Sgt. John Nunn overcame the flu to win the 2016 U.S. Olympic Team Trials for the 50-kilometer Race Walk to earn his third Olympic berth with a personal-best time of 4 hours, 3 minutes and 21 seconds on Feb. 21.

Sept. 10, 2015 - VICENZA, Italy — Two 173rd Airborne Brigade paratroopers have been selected to represent the U.S. military at the International Military Sports Council (CISM) World Military Games, to be held in Mungyeong, Korea, October 2015.

U.S. athletes shine at CISM World Para-Track & Field Championships
